About Chris M. Goodrich

After years of working as a partner with notable law firms, Chris Goodrich joined CJMH in 2003 when he saw an opportunity to work for a firm whose priorities aligned with his own professional values.

Chris’s impressive resume includes having assisted the legal team’s tax planning for a successful negotiation of a minority shareholder’s swap of stock issued by Berkshire Hathaway, identified the primary issue pertinent in a contest of a will by the heiress to the Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company, successfully lobbied U.S. Congress to change a federal estate law relating to curing late-filed defective 2032A elections, and testified before the U.S. Treasury and Internal Revenue Service National Offices regarding proposed regulations affecting qualified opportunity zones.

After receiving his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha, Chris went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska College of Law, and then his L.L.M. in Taxation from Washington University in St. Louis.
