Andrea Paisley joined CJMH in 2010 after graduating from law school in large part based on the firm’s practice areas and business-owner clientele. Prior to law school, Andrea worked for Lori Coulter, the successful start-up swimwear company, now known as Summersalt. As the start-up’s first employee, Andrea quickly learned what it takes to build a business from the ground up. This experience with entrepreneurship puts Andrea in the unique position to truly understand her clients’ challenges in a way most other lawyers cannot.

Andrea’s commitment to honesty, integrity and loyalty has not gone unnoticed as she was recognized as a Rising Star in M&A both in 2019 and 2020 by Texas Lawyer, an Under 40 Super Lawyer, and as a 2020 Top Woman Attorney.

Clients enjoy working with Andrea because of her practical problem-solving skills, her approach to legal problems with a business-oriented solution, as well as her ability to clearly communicate details of complicated documents and agreements. 

Andrea graduated magna cum laude with a BSBA in Finance in 2005 from Washington University in St. Louis. After working for Lori Coulter, she earned her Juris Doctorate and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center in 2010. Andrea is now a member of the American Bar Association and the Houston Bar Association. 

When Andrea is not practicing law, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children, practicing yoga, and trying new restaurants.
