W. Matthew Carver joined CJMH in 1992 as a commercial litigator. Matt Carver now utilizes his litigation experience to best represent his client’s business interests. 

Sound, reasoned judgment, and his compassionate nature lend to Matt’s ability to communicate effectively. He also remains cognizant of the need to add value to every legal matter he handles. Clients appreciate working with Matt because he takes their unique circumstances into account with his practical approach to solving their problems, as well as his dedication to helping their businesses grow. 

Prior to practicing law, Matt earned his BBA in Economics from Lamar University in 1988. He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate in 1992 from South Texas College of Law. Today, Matt is a member of the State Bar of Texas.

When he’s not in the office, Matt enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children on their farm, as well as hunting, fishing, golfing and traveling.
