CJMH attorneys regularly serve as legal counsel to prominent local family offices and private-equity backed portfolio companies. Our clients rely on us for legal advice, practical problem skills, prompt service, as well as our discretion. When representing family offices, we advise on and execute various investments, review investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, and provide broad legal counsel on a variety of legal and tax matters.
At times, our job is to communicate on behalf of clients, manage outside professional relationships, or simply get things done that our clients need done.
In addition to family offices, we assist emerging managers forming private equity and venture capital funds, as well as real estate developers forming joint ventures and syndications. Working closely with our tax attorneys, we structure investments to ensure tax efficiency as well as overall wealth preservation.
We represent accredited investors making alternative investments in private equity, real estate development, and similar investment opportunities. In addition, our M&A attorneys negotiate acquisitions on behalf of private equity funds, as well as representing companies who are negotiating with private equity groups for the acquisition of or investment in target companies.
